
The program in Animal Bioscience announces the international lecture titled How will the food future be? Nanofood: argumenting nature that will be presented by professor Dr. Lorenzo Pastrana. The lecture will take place on February 21, 2019, at 2 pm in the PRPPG Auditorium.
Dr. Lorenzo Pastrana holds a Ph.D. in pharmacy and is a full professor of food science at the University of Vigo - Spain. He has 25 years of experience in research and teaching in the areas of food processing, biotechnology and bionanotechnology. He is currently head of the Life sciences department of INL (Iberian International Nanotechnology Laboratory) in Braga - Portugal. In addition, he has collaboration with Profa. Ana Lúcia F. Porto.
